To place a NEW ad, the classified department is open to the public (non contract) Monday through Sunday, 24 hours a day. To extend, kill or pick-up a previously run ad, hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm. Please call (801) 237-2000.

The Classified department can help advertisers with the following products:

• The daily classified section, which contains both line and display ads. Some of the enhancements that can be made to your line ads are borders, emblems and screens. Ask the sales representative for information.

• Private party packages - Thrifties, Goods Under a Grand, General Merchandise, Deals for Wheels, Real Estate by Owner. All of these packages are for private party in-state use only (no commercial). Ask the sales representative about the qualifications.

• Clasificados - This bannered-off section within the regular classifieds runs daily. The ads are all in Spanish to help you reach the Latino market. Ask about the discount for running an ad in both Spanish and English.

• Friday classifieds, which begins with the Automotive section. On the front cover of the section a new vehicle is featured each week and is then followed by the regular classified section.

• Sunday Real Estate section. At the beginning of the real estate classifications, inside the regular classifieds, there is a full page of editorial leading off the real estate ads. Each week it will feature a different home that is on the market, along with other splashes of editorial.

• At Home in Utah. This free-standing display-only package publishes every Saturday and contains ads and editorial about new housing, decorating, furnishings and landscaping. It's the perfect place for any home-oriented business.

• Online. All classified advertising which runs in The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News can appear in the NAC classifieds on the Internet. We can also post your display ads and make them searchable for a minimal cost. The online classifieds can be accessed through either of the newspapers at www.sltrib.com or www.deseretnews.com.
